The summer transfer window thread
The time has come :)

So what do you think has got to be done in the summer regarding ins and outs?

Bless Nutsin. Taking all the end of season pre-arranged PR as gospel. Poor little naive sceptic.

Here's a thing... not everyone on this site publicly says you're a cunt, but everyone thinks it

Oh and btw Nutsack.. players rarely publicly criticise ex-managers and almost never criticise current managers and not on their big day of pathetic fan celebration and farewells...

A couple in the media today…

Jacob Bruun Larsen - On loan at Burnley 6 in 31 (a lot of subs). 25.

Simon Banza - Braga 37 in 87 (wiki says 32 in 56). 27.

Hold my hands up and say I don’t know a lot about either.

Moyes improved the club a lot,” said midfielder Tomas Soucek. “We can see the improvement, especially with winning the Conference League last season. I'm happy we won his last home game as manager and the whole stadium gave him a great send-off. Now it's a new journey for us but we want to build on from this win.2 days ago

Re: The summer transfer window thread
Kudus heaped a world of praise on Moyes, as did Bowen. The players sure liked him.

Re: The summer transfer window thread
We need to keep Kudus here next season

If he goes in the summer will make us look like a tinpot club!

We need to keep him aa part of Lopetegui first season at least

Agree that Greaves & Edwards would be good centre half choices
Don’t want any of those Arsenal rejects
Smith-Rowe would be expensive and a poor (spendthrift?) man’s George EARTHY
How long have they been trying to get rid of Nketiah at a stupid price?

Re: The summer transfer window thread
First question to be answered is: Will we need to replace Kudos and Paqueta? New Stricker will be the Moroccan Al Nasri I reckon! Shame they couldn’t get him for Moyes!

Re: The summer transfer window thread
Agreed about Ronnie Edwards. Him and Greaves from Hull would cost next to nothing and be great long term additions and give great depth if we also get in Kilman or the Dutch CB.

"Zaha would be an awful signing."

Yeah, I'm not seeing too many positives from it either.

QPR = Clever Trevor.

Re: The summer transfer window thread
Zaha would be an awful signing. He's 32 this year and will want a 2-3 year contract. Currently earning about £72k NET so would probably want well over £100k, plus there's whatever transfer fee his club want.

Even when he was at his peak (and the fact that he's not a regular starter at Galatasaray suggests that he's well past that), he was always a goal scorer more than a creator, and we already have quality goal scoring midfielders in Kudus and Bowen. It might be better for us to get someone at LW who can act as a provider, like a Payet type.

Re: The summer transfer window thread
I went to two QPR games this season, Sunderland and Leicester, so saw a few wingers

JACK CLARKE is tricky but was always looking to dive... BA played on the other side, was only average

Leicester pair were better, MAVIDIDI skillful on the left, but best of the four was FATAWU on the right, burning opponents off, exceptional pace

.. CHAIR is very talented but apparently going to prison

.. EDWARDS from Posh is the defender to get, now they have blown the play offs once again

Re: The summer transfer window thread
Agree that Ramsdale not needed at the moment and Tierney is injury prone IIRC? Eddie Nketika on the money quoted doesnt look the best value but we do need the British contingent numbers to meet Prem rules ?

Zaha ? Again big wages and probably a season or two at most. I'd prefer we went for players near or under 25 that are good and have potential for further development. Will be interesting to see who we end up with this summer now Lopetegui is the head coach.

Nutsin 6:30 Mon May 13
Re: The summer transfer window thread
You pay for starters, for back up squad players you bleed in some youth or bring in some experienced older players who can come in on occassion and give you a performance and give the team some experience to draw from.

Which probably explains the Zaha and Acuna interest.
Dont expect them to cost too much and they won’t be around for long.
There should be plenty of options to draw from this summer once the new FFP rules are finally signed off on.
